So FF1 should be an interesting one because I feel like I can give it a lot of options.
My first thought is to have the generator assign Both a party size and also assign classes, but I also feel like the generator as it is now isn't a very efficient way to do this. But I will for now.
Exmaple:
1 Character (Red MAge) 1 Character (Black Belt) 3 Characters (White Mage, White Mage, White Mage)
Doing it like this leave a possibility of 60 different restrictions just for the first restrictions (6 + 12 + 18 + 24)
Aside from that we also have
-No Equipment -No Magic (only one of these three can spawn at a time) -No White Magic -No Black MAgic -No Items -No Inns -No Revive (This would be a fun one) -Low Level (How low can you go?) -No Class Upgrade -No Escape -No Treasure Chests (This would be hard!) -No Shopping (Would be able to spawn with the above one)
That's all I can think of. Anything else? I've beat FF1 once on the NES and once on the PSP so I'm not sure what im missing. I guess I also need to take into consideration what version of the game is being played as the later versions have newer features Like Game difficulty and extra boss fights.

After thinking about it some, I'm removing the "No Treasure chests" from the list. Pretty much every key item in the game comes from a chest. It just wouldn't make sense.
